Rayman 3 HD Review
Rayman 3 HD is a 3D platformer brought to you by Ubisoft .
Story
Andre the leader of the black lums has started turning red lums into his evil black lum followers. After a while of Andre’s corruption he and his gang are able to disguise themselves as hoodlums as they cause havoc. It is Rayman’s job to obliterate these evil creatures and bring the peace back.
The story is quite cool as are most Rayman stories and the sarcastic dialogue is a nice touch. But like most games nowadays it will be forgotten.
Gameplay/controls
Rayman 3 HD plays quite smoothly but not as I would like. Camera movements are shoddy and quite slow which can lead to frustrating jump misses and the odd death.
The controls are again OK but could be better and smoother. Shooting around corners can be a pain as well as trying to eliminate multiple enemies.
You can help Rayman become that little bit stronger by collecting cans of what appear to be new outfits
Visuals
With the HD skin Rayman 3 HD looks quite nice but still what it was all them years ago. Levels feel empty and colours are repeated throughout but as a quick throught by Ubisoft it was just about pulled off.
Overall
Rayman feels and looks quite good but I wouldn’t rush out to buy it unless you are a huge fan that feels the need to play the classic one more time.
